About
Inspired by my dad and Spirited Away.
The sea dragon has come home for a short visit after its adventurous sea travels.
While working on this piece, I thought about my dad and the bushy eyebrows on the dragon is especially emphasised as it’s something we poke fun at him every once in a while (especially on mornings when he’s yet to tidy himself up).
Process
While drawing this, I changed the eyes of the dragon from open to close to signify a sense of trust and warmth.
