Inspired by the many moments when I choose to stare at my shortcomings right in the eye.

To celebrate the beauty of this little red dot’s 60th, this artwork features the trumpet flower, also known as Tabebuia rosea—Singapore’s sakura.

Referencing Olympic divers who take the leap in the face of fear; I am still afraid of so many things, but I know that it’s part of the journey to be brave.
