About

Perfect for accompanying gifts and room display.

There are barriers to expressing certain feelings for a reason. It could be to someone whom you want to reach out to for the longest but haven't had the courage to; or an apology you have put off for a few years now.

Regardless, this card can be your first step.

Process

Photos taken in Japan were taken with my eldest sister's fujifilm camera in 2018. Photos taken in Indonesia were taken with polaroid camera; using expired polaroid films in 2024. I scanned and edited them before thinking about the texts and story that can possibly bring out the best of these photos.

This was one of those projects that made me think through my relationships and experiences.
Words I should have said before drifting apart from someone, words I'd love to hear when I was struggling.
Hence, this series is personal to me.
